Collaboration by TALKING HEADS

Talking Heads, who formed their band in New York in 1975, and City Country City have announced their first-ever collaboration.

From their 1977 debut to their final album in 1988, Talking Heads explored a wide range of sounds, from art funk to world beat to catchy guitar pop.

As part of this collaboration, we are releasing T-shirts featuring the artwork from the album *Remain in Light* as the main motif.

This New Wave band was formed in New York City in 1975. While rooted in punk, they fused a diverse range of musical styles—including funk, art rock, and world music—to establish a unique sound that transcended the boundaries of conventional rock.Led by frontman David Byrne, the band gained worldwide acclaim for its intellectual and experimental songs and highly artistic live performances. Beginning with their 1977 debut album *Talking Heads: 77*, they released numerous masterpieces, including *Remain in Light* and *Speaking in Tongues*.Their 1984 live film *Stop Making Sense* was highly acclaimed for its innovative direction and overwhelming performance, and it remains a landmark work in music history to this day. The band continues to exert a significant influence not only on music but also on fashion, art, and culture, and they enjoy the support of many creators and artists across generations.
