[DICKIES]

Dickies is an American workwear brand co-founded in 1920 by C.N. Williamson and E.E. Dickie. They visited actual work sites, studied the characteristics of workwear suited to each job, from farmers to miners, and sold products tailored to the needs of workers. The workwear Dickies created quickly became deeply ingrained throughout the United States. The first model, the iconic Dickies "874," was created for Texas oil workers. Durable, stain-resistant, and suitable for all body types, these work pants became an explosive hit. In the 1990s, street culture boomed across the United States, and West Coast skaters favored the durable and affordable "874," which spread to artists in various fields. This culture spread to Japan, and Dickies eventually established itself not only as workwear but also as a fashion brand.
