This authentic 6-panel cap is made with PERTEX SHOELD and features all seam tape. It also has a drawstring at the back and is a free size.

F/CE.'s classic Pertex Shield fabric offers lightweight waterproof protection while remaining highly breathable.
Designed for extreme mountain sports where lightweight and breathable performance are key, it lets you move fast while staying comfortable.
Available in 2-layer, 2.5-layer and 3-layer constructions, these versatile constructions combine lightweight face fabrics with waterproof, windproof and breathable membranes that are treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to repel rain and snow while remaining breathable.

Because it is stronger than ordinary fabrics, it can be washed in a normal household washing machine and dried at a low temperature. There is no detergent specified, but be sure to rinse thoroughly. If any detergent remains between the fabric and the polyurethane film, it will easily absorb water.
If you want to restore the water-repellent properties, we recommend putting it in the dryer on a low temperature setting or ironing it at a low temperature with a pressing cloth over it. This will raise the fine fibers on the surface and restore the water-repellent properties.
