PERTEX SHIELD provides excellent breathability by allowing air to pass through smoothly thanks to a multi-layer structure made up of countless microscopic holes, created using a special manufacturing process that uses nanofiber membranes.

Unlike conventional rain jackets and shells, there is no need to worry about sweat building up inside the garment and making the body cold. It is expected to be effective in protecting against rain and wind even in hot and humid climates like Japan and in situations that require a lot of physical activity.

A versatile 3-layer construction combines a lightweight outer fabric with a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane. The outer fabric is treated with DWR (durable water repellent) to repel rain and snow while still maintaining breathability.
