Mizunois launching its first collaborative model of the “WAVE MG4 LS” with “ SWJP ,” a brand based in Los Angeles and Tokyo.
SWJPis the first brand launched under his own name bySeanWotherspoon,a designer, artist, curator, collector, and vintage enthusiast based in Los Angeles and Tokyo.Additionally, for the Japan project, Ryunosuke Uchida ( Uchi) has joined as co-designer and co-creative director, workingalongsideSean Wotherspoonto lead thebrand’screative endeavors.
The base model,the “ WAVE MG4 LS, ”combines comfortable wear and exceptional stability with SWJP’s unique perspective , elevating it into a design that conveys not only functionality but also a sense of culture.The upper combines denim, mesh, and synthetic materials, incorporating vintage-inspired details throughout. With the addition of original graphics and specially designed parts, it blends a classic vibe with a contemporary design.
This collection is available in two colors , each with its own story.
The Japan-exclusive colorway features a chic palette of subdued tones. It blends seamlessly into the urban landscape while exuding a distinct presence,expressing Japanese culturethrough a perspective unique to SWJP.
The Global Color, on the other hand, features light blue and red as accent colors. It exudes a more free-spirited and open atmosphere, making it the perfect pair to symbolize the story of this project—one that extends from the city into nature.
