Mizuno Corporation will launch the WAVE PROPHECY MORELIA NEO, an entirely new lifestyle shoe that combines the company's two flagship models, the Morelia and the Wave Prophecy, in Japan in June 2025.
This model, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the birth of the landmark football boot, "Morelia," will be unveiled for the first time in the world at Paris Fashion Week in January 2025. It will be released as a new symbol of Mizuno, connecting the origins of football with the future of street culture.
Characteristics and Background
This work combines two of Mizuno's major icons: the classic soccer boot "Morelia" born in 1985 and the innovative running shoe "Wave Prophecy" released in 2011. It is a product that proposes "a new way of wearing" that starts from the soccer pitch and develops at the intersection of cities, culture and fashion.
■ High-quality design and comfortable fit
The upper is based on the silhouette of the Morelia Neo 4. The synthetic leather is comfortable to wear, providing a good fit for sports shoes and comfort for town use. The functional beauty of soccer boots is reproduced in every detail, including the heel knit.

The sole is equipped with Mizuno's unique cushioning technology "MIZUNO WAVE" and the "WAVE PROPHECY plate" that uses a hollow infinity structure.
